Pennsylvania Distance Mentoring Model
The aim of the collaborative project between the Communication and Early Childhood Research to Practice (CEC-RAP) Center with Pennsylvania Early Intervention Technical Assistance (EITA) is to expand and sustain the capacity of the EITA workforce in their use of Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI) and Caregiver Coaching. This will be accomplished by strengthening the internal capacity of early intervention providers in PA to broaden and maintain the use of interdisciplinary recommended practices for early intervention, to develop a local work force of provider and master coaches able to provide professional development (PD) and coaching within their counties and regions with fidelity, and to build on the capacity of PA EITA to provide professional development (PD) to their workforce with meaningful online content relevant to FGRBI and Caregiver Coaching.
